Marathon Moving, Your Boston Moving Company

Marathon exceeded my expectations! I have been trying to get this large couch into my small 3rd floor apartment with pitched ceilings for a week to no avail, I finally called them for some help and they were able to get it in with no problem in under an hour! They brought it on to the garage roof and lifted it from there onto my deck and right into the apartment. It was an amazing sight to see, you can tell they are professionals. 10/10 service, I wish I called them in the first place!

Moved from Boston to central Virginia, using Marathon Moving and Allied. A huge thank you to Billy and Bob for packing up, and Lou for driving and unpacking. They were very efficient, professional, and friendly. This was my first time using professional movers and I was surprised at how intact and clean my things were. Definitely worth it.

I would not recommend them. We've moved 5 times in the last 12 years and decided to try a larger agent. We chose Allied who was serviced in our area by Marathon Moving. Their quote was almost double the next best company we trusted, however, given Allied's reputation and the services that were promised, we decided to give them a shot. While getting a quote Marathon was quite pleasant with them being very helpful in that stage. One of the major reasons we chose to use them over other movers because they promised to "Pad & protect your home including floors - walls - door jambs - etc.;" We were selling our house about a week after the move, so keeping everything in great shape was a priority. Complete Scam! Do not waste your time with any of their auctions. The day of the auction i watched multiple employees taking items out of the vaults and putting them away for themselves almost like they knew what they were taking. No ones seemed to care or say anything. I learned today that the majority of the vaults are employees and family of employees and are used as storage. As one employee put it while I was removing HIS unit, "it was nice having free storage". Don't stress yourself wasting your time energy effort or money. These people are going out of business for a reason.

GREAT experience with Marathon Moving. They packed up my mom’s apartment and my entire house during one of the hottest weeks on record in NH. Juan and Sabian did a great job and were actually able to load my mom’s stuff earlier than expected, which made my schedule so much easier to deal with. Juan came again to my house, this time with Cynthia and Melvin, and loaded my house and a full PODS container. I appreciate their speed and efficiency, their patience, and their positive attitudes despite the miserable conditions. I only wish they could have been on the other end to unload in Green Bay!
