Mark Franko Custom Building

We relied on Mark Franko and his team to help first with management and maintenance, and later with renovation of a house in Richmond that we had inherited. Since we were out of town, we were dependent on Franko Construction not only for the quality of their work, but for the security of the premises while subcontractors were working there. Our experience was uniformly excellent: their staff was continually in touch, and available evenings and weekends to deal with emergencies. The quality of the renovation work was exceptional. Though I'm not familiar in detail with Richmond prices, I expect they are not the cheapest, but highly recommended.

I have used Mark Franko for several projects over the last two years (master bath, kitchen, floors, pool, outdoor kitchen) and have several more planned for 2021. I could not be happier with the work and even more so with the service. My dedicated team (including Natalie and David) listens and really gets what I am trying to accomplish— then work with me to make it a reality. The owner himself checks in. Every sub is top notch, clean and reliable. It’s honestly a pleasure working with the company. They take great pride in what they do and it shows.

Pretty bad. They turn a small maintenance request into like 20 emails and a month of waiting, consistently.

If you like tons of sketchy contractors screaming through your streets all day and complete disrespect for your neighborhood, Mark Franko is your man.
