Market Square Garage

I've been parking here a few times per week for nearly a year. It's clean, safe, and I like its layout. I haven't had any difficulties with the gates not opening, but I read a few other reviews where some folks have experienced trouble with them. I'm hoping that they fixed those issues. I did take off one star because one of the elevators has been inoperable for nearly a month. Other than that, I really enjoy parking here. I will update my review if things change or if I remember to take/upload pics.

I have a monthly membership which costs $250 a month. At least once every other week I ran into some problem with gates not opening and me being stuck there for 10-15 minutes. This morning the gate half opened, I had to call 4 times which would be okay but the problem with calls is that every call counts as a new call where the operator makes you answer like 10 Qs to verify your identity before they can help you. So if the gate does not open you when they hang up, you call again and another person picks up and you start all over with them.... it's almost like now I have to leave for work even earlier just to account for the possibility of the gates not working.

Ever since SP+ took over a few(?) years ago, we’ve faced a myriad of issues on a regular basis. From the exit gates refusing to accept tickets, entrance gates being set to the incorrect time and therefore rendering the garage closed to non-passholders during regular operating hours or during known church events, the entrance gates declaring the garage is “full” even though the garage staff are aware of an event or worship taking place at the attached church, or the entrance/ exit gates refusing to lift when presented with tickets or passes (often times even taking both tickets and refusing to return them when the button is pressed). When using the call button on the kiosk, it is very difficult to make out what the operator on the other end is saying as the speakers are blown out. When call

Worst parking garage experience I ever had. They claimed you had to pay at the Kiosk on the lower level and tasks it was the only way to pay. We waited in line after a concert for 20 minutes to pay at the kiosk. It said that we had ten minutes to use the ticket we paid for. Took us 30 minutes to go down, and then our ticket was expired so we had to pay all over again to get out. The car in the lane next to us had its card eaten by the machine and was stuck. We were on the lower levels and the whole process took us 40 minutes….I can imagine those up top probably waited almost two hours.
