MAS Major Appliance Service

Carlos does not stand behind his work and is unreliable at best (he no-showed for one of our scheduled visits after I waited around for 3 hours). I had him come to fix an ice-maker, drain leak and inlet valve in my Samsung refrigerator over 3 visits to my home. While it seemed he would fix one issue each visit he never diagnosed or addressed the system comprehensively. Basically, by trial-and-error, he replaced the ice machine and the water inlet valve, never addressing the water line that was leaking and freezing water into the freezer. Any time he needed to return to address a related issue he insisted on a $100+ visit fee, even though he’s obligated to offer reasonable rectification for his work (not to mention parts and labor warranty). We had a leak problem on our fridge, Carlos promptly answered our call and came on the scheduled time. He was very knowledgeable and polite. He fixed the issue without any problems or delays We will be using his service from now on. We had used other companies in the past and Carlos is who we will continue to call for our repairs.

Wow! Carlos is the man. He came out and figured out the problem. Unfortunately, he had to order a part but he came right back and replaced it. Great service. He figured out another problem with our oven as well and didn’t charge us to reset it. I would use them every time.

Would absolutely use Major Appliance Service again! We had a KitchenAid fridge that stopped making ice. Carlos was responsive, quickly diagnosed the issue and walked us through all of our repair options and the various costs. He is extremely knowledgeable and we trust his recommendations. We will be using MAS again if any of our appliances go out!

We were referred to Carlos based on the type of refrigerator we have (Dacor - “…most repair personnel won’t touch them.”). We were warned he would be a little more expensive (not true!), but worth it. We were pleased to find out that he was not more expensive! Carlos was on time, professional, and went above and beyond to reduce the cost to us based on the steps he took to troubleshoot and fix the issue. In addition to fixing the issue (frozen fan in the freezer) he updated our systems firmware to prevent the problem from happening again in the future! We would absolutely call Carlos again and refer him to anyone in need of a quality, trustworthy appliance repair professional!
