Mashburn Construction

We are a small electrical subcontractor in upstate SC. We completed a job for a church in Mauldin for another GC, which merged with Mashburn prior to final payment. After many months of trying to collect, Mashburn finally released a check for $2,600, less than half of the $5,600 we were owed. (Our understanding through communications with the church is that they did this across the board with other subcontractors as well.) Being too small an amount to take legal action for, we are expected to suffer this unscrupulous tactic and say nothing. Honestly, how much can this really profit a huge company like Mashburn with a great reputation online??? Please repost this and stand up for justice for small businesses!
