Poor workmanship and unreliable service — would not recommend Massey for Irrigation or Lawncare (Lawn, Tree & Shrub). Review on Irrigation (see review on Landscape below): We hired Massey Irrigation to repair a broken pipe and add sprinkler heads. Less than six months later, their “repair” broke again. We discovered that the Massey technician went from a 1" pipe to a 1/2" pipe and back to 1", reducing water pressure and causing more issues. We paid for a full year of service in advance but canceled after four months due to repeated no-shows, unprofessional workmanship, and poor results. Massey (almost) refuses to honor written contract (updated 5/28) No matter how many times I call Massey, they refuse to honor the contract I paid for and perform a spring aeration on my lawn. Annual aeration is important, as Massey's website states, "Annual lawn aeration to create healthy roots, protect ground water and stimulate better utilization of water by your lawn". My "Landscape Service Agreement", from Massey, has a "Monthly Landscape Service" section that explicitly includes "Annual aeration". I’ve been a Massey Services customer for three years. For the past year, the customer service has declined tremendously. I literally have to BEG them to mow my lawn. My grass is usually too long, and is the worst looking in my Villages neighborhood. They always promise to mow my lawn, but they never show up. Extremely poor communication, any request for service MIGHT be followed up with a canned email. I actually had someone follow up on my request for service with a personal phone call last week. He promised my lawn would be mowed the next day. No one ever came…It’s been a month since it was last mowed. I’m changing providers next week. Very disappointed.

I am updating my original review - as soon as management was notified of our issues we received a personal phone call from the regional manager who resolved our issue by the next day. I am very pleased and thankful for the quick and good service that was provided. The employees even called us to let us know they were present on our property and taking care of it. We are happy to keep using Massey services so long as they continue to provide this good service. Thank you :) We were warned by neighbors about signing up with Massey and we should've listened. Every person in the service center is very rude to talk to and no one knows what's going on. We were told our lawn was serviced on a specific date and not only were we home and did not see anyone come, but our cameras did not show anyone

Brent from Massey came to evaluate our irrigation system today. He was punctual and professional in every way. There was no hurry, he explained everything very well. His evaluation was clear and the proposal was perfect. We’re glad to have seen him.
