Massey Services Pest Control

I’ve been a long-time customer of Massey, originally with Peninsular before it was acquired. Since the acquisition, the quality of service and the condition of our lawn have steadily declined. I recently reached the point where I decided to cancel. Unfortunately, customer service made no effort to ask why I was leaving or what they could do to keep a long-term customer. They simply processed the cancellation without any questions, which made it clear that losing a customer doesn’t really matter to a company their size. They’ll likely replace me with two new ones the same day. To be honest, I was already ready to move on. I recently hired another company, which is actually $10 cheaper than Massey. I’ve been with Massey Services for over a year, and the experience has gone downhill. Back in July, I spoke with Eric about lawn damage that looked like chinch bugs or disease, but he later denied ever talking to me. A manager was sent out after I contacted the corporate office. That manager agreed there was a problem and promised soil testing and plugging, but nothing was ever done. The lack of follow-through and accountability is unacceptable. Eric’s dismissive and condescending attitude, and the broken promises, have left my lawn in terrible shape. I’ve paid for their services in good faith, but I feel ignored and taken advantage of. Time to find another company.

We have been with Massey Services Pest Control, (both lawn and termite) for quite a while. Their lawn services to date have been thorough, responsive and for the most part knowledgeable, depending on which tech is servicing our lawn. It appears that turnover or reassignments to other areas is relatively frequent. The Termite techs is an entirely different story. I don't think they consistently have the same rep doing the perimeter bait station check every year. The two men that came out here today (2/3/26) spent more time and put in an obvious effort to check each and every bait station, including those that were covered up by sod/grass or rocks. They must have spent an hour. In the past a tech would show up and say he’s here to check the traps…1-30 mins. Later he’s gone. None of the grass

Aljuan H came today and was not only incredibly educated on all he was doing with the pesticides but also informative on what he was doing and explanations for why he was treating and products being used. He was so polite and respectful of our home and time and just a delightful guy. I was very impressed with him and a professional and person. As this was the initial visit and treatment he literally won my business for as long as he is able to be my service professional.
