I'm am new at home maintaining. I knew something was wrong so I began to search for a plumbing company with reputable reviews. I call them for a leak on the hose in the backyard. When they arrived they informed me that they will be accessing the whole house and sit with me to discuss their finding and my options. I reviewed the contract and the following day a team came to fix the problem which took all day. The sale representatives Brook and Jordan were very professional. Their behind the scene team, especially Jose were very knowledgeable of the job at hands. My mother contacted this company to look at her air conditioning unit. She lives in a 900 square foot condo. My mother was quoted for a $23,000 unit before they even looked at the issue at hand with her previous AC. After my brother contacted the office to stop the rip off of such an astronomically priced quote my mother was still charged $499 and no receipt was left to show what the charges were for. I have contacted Master Plumbers 3 times to get the detailed receipt and still have not. I was told they would have to speak to management. Unbelievable how they can charge with no details of what the charges are for. Similar to the previous review. This company used to be Edwards Heating and Air. They were a reasonable company to work with. That's no longer the case. I was told it would be a $90 truck fee just come out, after a quick diagnosis they tried to charge me $400. They are stealing your money through the truck fee. They will not tell you what's wrong with your unit until you pay the $400. Tell them to kick rocks like I did. All the positive reviews are from the previous ownership, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!

Called them to service my HVAC and was told it'd be a $89 service call plus cost of repairs. Tech got there and told us there would be a previously undisclosed diagnostic fee of $250. So that's $350 before we even start the repair. Found reviews and complaints elsewhere where customers stated they received the same treatment. In my opinion, I don't think they are honest and I'd never consider recommending them or using them myself. The woman I scheduled with was more interested in selling me a service contract for my two units than in helping me with the repair I needed. BEWARE. They even made up stories about the service, which we didn’t allow them to perform, saying they did a number of things when we needed we let the tech close to our system once we figured out how dishonest they were

We used Edwards in the past and they were super friendly and didn’t over-charge. However, the new company is not like Edwards. The new company said over the phone that the service fee would be around $79 to come out here to check our HVAC unit. When they arrived, before ever leaving the driveway, they said it would be $200 to “diagnose” the problem. They never even looked at the unit and they didn’t even care to look at it without the $200. I said thanks but no thanks, then they said I owed them not $79, but $90. They sat in my driveway for 15-30 minutes calling their office after I expressed my frustrations. Finally, I gave them a check for $90 just so they would leave my driveway. We have lived in 3 states, and this was the first time anyone has tried to charge $200 as soon as th
