Mastercare Tree & Landscape Company

I chose Mastercare of Myrtle Beach from a handful of similar tree removal companies in the area. They responded quickly in providing me with an estimate and a very good price to remove a tall river birch tree in my backyard. Everything was done in a timely manner and with professional results. I'm a very happy customer and will use their services again.

My next door neighbor used this service to trim the pine tree that is between our properties. "Master care" did a nice job of the trimming but all they did was cut and run. They let the cut branches fall into my garden, killing some of my plants..worse yet, they didn't even pick them up. The pile of branches in the foreground of the photo are the ones that I picked up myself. In the background you can see some larger branches that fell into the bushes and they didn't clear them out either. I've called them 3 times leaving 3 messages...no call back, no results. I guess you can say that Mastercare Tree & Landscape is strictly a bush league operation.

The owner came out to assess two pine trees to be removed. The owner said "I will be here next thursday. that didn't happen" I received an estimate via email which I accepted. I communicated via email with Stephanie who set up a new date and time, that appointment... CANCELLED at the "11th" hour, then Stephanie set up another appointment the night before they wanted to come out. I waited for their arrival... A NO SHOW. I tried to call their business number(?) no answer, which you never get an answer on that line. Seems this company only response via email, which in itself is very sketchy. Makes you wonder why they do not want to answer their phone??? Master Care's entire crew were fantastic, from start to finish. KC was efficient and gave me a reasonable price for the extensive work they did behind my home. Ryan, Max and JR were tireless and excellent in taking down and trimming up the trees and finally Rodney came in and finished the job by grinding the stumps. I couldn't be happier! Great job! They took great pains to keep the existing yard as damage-free as you can for such a violent task. I used their services about 14 years ago and I will use them in the future if need be. What do I think about this company do not hire them repeat do not hire them. First of all we got two estimates, the first one was 900 dollars less then the second one. So they told us they would give it to us at that price. The day they were supposed to come do the work no one showed up. We called and called them no answer. My husband took the day off of work and waited all day no show no call. They are supposed to be open 9 to 4 Monday thur Friday. I'm glad we didn't get them to do our work by some of the reviews I have read. If they just would of called us and let us know something maybe we would understand.
