Mathiesen Landscapes

Probably the worst/laziest landscaping services I've seen in my life. I rent from a community and snow removal is part of our rent. This year they decided to go with this landscaping company and it has been horrendous. They hardly come out. Nothing looks clean or organized like it used to. The driveways are always only partly done and that's IF they actually do your driveway. They don't salt it when they're done. One day recently instead of using snow blowers to get rid of snow they used leaf blowers instead. What sense does this make? We pay a lot for rent over here and this company gets paid to take care of this property and since they have taken over this place has took a nosedive. This alone makes us not even want to live in this community any longer. I would NEVER recommend this c

The team of guys that service our property are professional and very caring of the elderly residents that are out and about on the site. They always show up when scheduled and do a great job. This past year we also had Jim and his crew landscape the front of the building and it was done promptly and professionally. It also looks beautiful. I highly recommend Mathiesen Landscapes!

Excellent service from Jim and his team. He designed a beautiful outdoor lighting plan for the exterior of our home and pool area. We also use Mathiesen Landscapes for all of our lawn and yard maintenance, including mowing, mulching, sculpting, planting, spring and fall cleanups. Jim is quick to respond, easily accessible, and provides great customer service. 5 stars!

Gave 4 stars only because i was able to call contractor and someone actually answered. We spoke about my project and my time frame and Jim was upfront on start scheduling. I am good with start time but wanted a quote well before spring arrived. Jim says that is very feasible and is expected to call me and schedule a consultation/ estimate asap. Will do a follow up review on progress of response reliability and results as they progress. I received my quote for project and was somewhat out of my targeted price range.

Gave the exterior of a sixty year-old home a much-needed update with a new front walk, a back patio/fire-pit, and new plant material that blends seamlessly with the existing material we wanted to keep. I’m still marveling at the craftsmanship and careful design decisions. Created a large landscape screening solution that effectively transformed an entire portion of the yard with artistic design that provides privacy in all the right places. What a great group to work with—I can’t say enough about how hard Jim and his team work to implement the homeowner’s vision and to make the project easy on the entire family.
