From the time I called to set up the appointment from when I left after it being done, it was truly top notch and professional work. You can tell that Brian has a passion for protecting your vehicle, and goes above and beyond what any other “undercoating service” may do. You can watch him apply it, and he explains everything he does in fine detail as well as why he does it. Rather than just doing the under carriage like most places do, he did the bare metal behind the tailights, behind the bed, in the doors, under the hood, exposed areas in the engine compartment, under fender liners, and more. I approached Brian with concerns about my new car's longevity in the northern climates and he did a great job untercoating my car. He spent great effort applying Fluid Film onto every vulnerable surface on my car and explains his process in detail from the initial consultation until after the undercoating process. He takes pride in protecting vehicles and enjoys getting to know the customers, and his work reflects this enthusiasm. It was a fun experience going through the coating process with Brian as well.

Fluid Film undercoating treatments done RIGHT. I chose MATTT Preservation after a shoddy, incomplete and apathetic winter 2022 Fluid Film undercoating treatment by a regional competitor for my silver 2004 Toyota Tacoma. This truck was fresh from rusted frame repair and rebuild in Baltimore and Brian proved to be the undercoating expert needed for TOTAL protection and preservation of my frame investment. I liked the job so much I had Brian also treat my SECOND 2004 white Tacoma work truck. I can FINALLY sleep well at night knowing Brian has me, and my trucks, expertly covered both figuratively and literally. UPDATE: I just discovered that Brian Martonik, who started Mattt Preservation, passed away suddenly January 1, 2024. A Google search will provide obituary etc. Gosh-darn shame...Brian

Brian did an excellent job on my 85 Dodge. Excellent workmanship and you can tell he really takes pride in his work. He shot me multiple pictures throughout the process. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Brian did an excellent job undercoating my Chevy Silverado. He really goes above and beyond what you might expect. He really does have a great attitude towards the undercoating process. He explains everything he is doing and provides pictures of the work as he’s doing it. Unlike some other companies that come out to your house and really only treat the areas they can get to. Brian will put your vehicle up on a lift and remove all loose rust before the spraying process. He even removed the taillights and sprayed inside that area. I highly recommend Brian of Mattt preservation. Also I think his cost is extremely reasonable for all the effort he puts into this process.
