Our 1920s North Park home has a lot of character, but the kitchen and guest bathroom had clearly been remodeled sometime in the early 80s and honestly hadn’t been touched since. We wanted to keep the charm of the house while still updating everything so it actually functioned better for everyday life. After meeting with Renen we felt pretty confident we had found the right contractor. Instead of pushing some generic design he spent time asking how our family actually uses the kitchen, which I appreciated more than I expected. MBK and their project manager, Omer, did such a great job renovating our kitchen. They installed everything anew - the tiles, countertops, island, wooden cabinets, lights, hardware, and appliances. Before we started, we saw our future kitchen in a 3D viewspace on the computer, and made necessary changes. Omer and his team are very quick and they always adjusted to my corrections and changes during the renovation, no matter how specific. Omer conveniently organized all the meetings with stores and subcontractors, for us to save time and get professional advice. We interviewed 5 contractors to remodel our 1 bedroom cottage, and are very pleased that we chose My Bath and Kitchen to do the work. Their name is deceiving, because Renen's crew, headed by excellent Project Manager Walter, renovated our ENTIRE house from top to bottom. Their team was exceptional--roofer, plumber, electrician, cabinets, HVAC, paint, drywall, stucco, cement work, etc. And best of all, at the end, their team of detailed finish guys didn't leave even one project un-done. Joey and his crew from MBK renovated and upgraded two and a half bathrooms for us. Joey first assisted us with design and purchases. His crew then did demolition, dry walls, floor and shower walls tiling, upgrading the vanity, shower and tub areas, lights, plumbing, electrical work and painting. Joey supervised the work daily, making sure that the work met the highest level standards. He was very open to feedback and requests along the time, and interacted with us in the most kind, patient, professional and cooperative manner.
