Would not recommend using them, bought a home that recommended using this company, called to setup an appointment, he missed our appointment time and never showed up, when I called in his response was “had to stop somewhere else will be there later” even though we had an appointment for 8am that I took time off of work for, very unprofessional, as a company you shouldn’t be setting up appointment times if you’re just going to disregard them and peoples time. If I could leave 0 stars I would especially since I’ve waited 5 days for this appointment

If you are looking for a company to look out for you. Year after year. Look no further. Our pool was installed by McCarthy pools in 1960. It was my dads pleasure. Growing up in Boston as a city boy. He enjoyed taking care of his yard... pool included. We lost my dad at the end of july. The compassion. Sense of urgency. The true care of the family as well as the pool. Is a professionalism that barely exists now. COVID19 should be a reason to buy a pool. Stay home. Enjoy your family. This pool got more use and more appreciation this year than any.... McCarthy pools has been a pleasure to work with. They installed our fiberglass pool and the process was seamless. Timeline was as promised. This pool was part of a large backyard project and when the project was near completion, we decided to move the pool filters. McCarthy’s was very responsive, quick and agreeable with getting the pool filters moved. I highly recommend them!

Terrible customer service. Scheduled a pool opening 3 weeks ago. The day of the opening the techs never arrived. Called 3 times and sent 2 emails with no information on their arrival. Drove to the store and the front desk said not to worry and they would arrive before 4. I drove home a few minutes later and saw the fan in my driveway. I waived to the tech and by the time I put the car in park and opener my door, they drove off. I called the retail store and service department again and was told I would get a call back. I never got a call and no one came back. The service manager called me the next day and was extremely rude. He told me the pool was already opened and the techs decided nothing needed to be done. This company provided a quote for a new fiberglass pool that was 100k more than the other two companies that install Latham Pools in Massachusetts. Obviously I chose another company. Now that my pool is completed, I need to install a winter safety cover. So I submitted a request for a quote with McCarthy. Someone politely gets back to me and asked me to provide additional information so they could “provide a quote right away” which I do. I got an email back. 15 minutes later saying that now they won’t quote me because I didn’t have my pool installed by them. Insisting that in the last 15 minutes they decided to only install winter covers on pools that they installed. Clearly, this action is retaliatory as they are upset that they weren’t able to take advantage of me for an additional hund
