We chose to replace a recently identified major electrical and fire hazard, at our home built in the mid-eighties, as a planned event as soon as possible last fall. The Federal-Pacific Stab-Loc 200A Load Center main electrical distribution system panel for our home was more than obsolete, and we wanted to also bring our system up to 2020 NEC Electrical Code requirements, including grounding, whole house surge protection, and emergency services shut off capability as part of our home safety systems projects. We also wanted in to upgrade to new AFCI breakers where possible, update some aged GFCI receptacles and replace several standard receptacles. Extremely satisfied! I called and was scheduled quickly with Chris. He was very kind to our family and was willing to work with our needs given the fact that our house is old and had many DIY fails and damage from neglect. He installed new smoke and CO detectors which are now hard-wired and up to code. He covered some old flood light ports that were a risk and he installed new outlets on the patio ceiling and installed our outdoor fans that we bought, which have been an amazing addition to our outdoor area. He also put a box on some old wires that were capped but exposed.
