John and Alan replaced our faulty a/c air handler in an extraordinary manner. They were polite, professional and patient, and took the time to answer our questions. When they had finished their work, our home looked as if it had not been disturbed! Great job you guys. I will refer you to anyone who asks for a great A/C company.

We have been using McClain's services for years and never had an issue with them until recently. The fan on our AC unit is constantly running so we called McClain services a few weeks ago to come out and fix it. We tried calling them numerous times (at least 10 or so) and it would ring then go to voicemail where the voicemail box was full. This happened for several weeks but we were able to get through one time. They said they would come out the next day at 10:30am to take a look, which of course they never did (no call either). Since then, we STILL have not heard back from them nor have we been able to get ahold of them to ask why they never showed up/returned our calls (when you call it goes to voicemail & voicemail box is FULL). We were impressed with their timeliness. Joe was about to find us a new unit within a few days. We had renters moving in on Friday evening and Alan and Dayton worked very hard to get our new unit installed.

I called McClains to repair my AC unit at my home on Cudjoe Key in early APRIL. I had used the owner for a small repair prior, so figured I’d use them again. He came and looked at the unit and said I needed a new compressor. He said it would cost $1200 plus labor. He also tried to talk me into getting a whole new AC unit for $5,000+. I had my property rented on June 6th. I told him it HAD TO BE DONE by then. He had over 6 weeks to complete this job. He assured me it would be done. I called him 3 times to remind him. I text him as well. I also called his business line and spoke with his wife 2 weeks ago and she assured me that it would be completed. Yesterday, I tried to contact them to make sure the job was done. His wife then stated “I will let you know by the end of the day if it will be
