I’ll start by saying we’ve been using McCourt for about 6 years. Was always happy with the service...great techs (young Mike) and office (Laura)...but things have clearly changed and our most recent experience had a real ick factor. They essentially held our unit hostage for a $1200 ransom stating a full remediation cleaning was required (on a lightly used system) before they would even begin troubleshooting the actual failure. And this is after already having paid $240 for a faulty diagnosis plus the cost of the “actual repair” that most certainly would have followed. The office (Pete) was not only rude & crude, but used the lowest form of scare tactics available for this obvious gateway upsell…which, come to find out, costs on average between $300-$600 (for a full remediation cleaning

Switched over to McCourt after being overcharged by another service provider. We use them for annual maintenance on our AC system as well as our boiler—always terrific service, clear explanations of what needs work, and never feel like the job is rushed. Fred came out for our annual maintenance today and was excellent to work with—he helped me think through some future work we may have upcoming and was good about ensuring we knew what was priority. Great communications, and definitely feel like I was working with an expert. Highly recommended!

First let me start out by saying i have a commercial painting Cpy, so by being in the construction industry I am very fussy with work done on my residence, I cannot express enough how impressed b I was in this company, we did not have heat or hot water for 5 days while waiting on another service Cpy to get parts and then finally saying our unit shit the bed, so now we were up against it to find someone else to put a brand new boiler in right away, Ben accommodated us right away by changing his schedule to come the next day to take care of us. And they sure did, neat, cleaned up and gave us a beautiful unit in one day, thank you , I highly , highly recommend this company without a doubt on their professional and work ethic to complete a project with out any problems or delays 5 star in my b

My husband and I have been customers of McCourt for several years. We hired them to address a problem two days ago b/c we had no hot water. The tech was able to replace a part and the hot water began working. The bill was $544. By yesterday, the water was cold again. We called and were told that there would be no charge for returning to the property since they just worked on our boilers two days ago. This time the tech did something else to fix the problem and the bill came out to $500, we were told. We debated the bill with the tech and he advised us to call the office. When we called and spoke with an ARROGANT manager, we were told that they are not responsible for warranting all types of problems in our system, that we did not have a good understanding of our system, that we were exagge

Too bad I have to even leave a star, there should be an option for no stars! Had an appointment scheduled for 10am, after no calls or no one arriving by 12:30 I called. I was told that my appointment was actually between 10am and 2pm but the technician was on an emergency call currently. They stated the technician would arrive between 2 and 3. At 4:30 I received a call inquiring if I still wanted service and a technician would be there by 5. At 5:15 a technician showed up, he said he was just send and could do the service. I explained to him that I would need the annual service and an expansion tank needed to be replaced. He said he didn’t have any and wouldn’t be able to service my equipment. An entire day wasted waiting on a company that couldn’t have the courtesy to call, then show up
