McCoy's Building Supply

We have had a very poor experience with McCoys working on our lake house renovation. Pretty much everything we have ordered came delivered wrong, wrong windows, baths. When they delivered us the wrong bathtubs, the rude customer service girl even tried to tell us that “these were the only baths available so we sent you these ones” when they should have just called us to tell us they didn’t have the baths in stock asking if we would want different ones or a refund. We had to talk to someone else there who said yes I don’t know why we would even list baths we don’t even have online in stock. They sent us a bunch of the wrong windows too & we had to end up using some of the wrong ones to hit our building deadline which was very disappointing. AJ is phenomenal. My husband and I first met AJ at the Business Expo put on by the chamber. We came in for a big ask and AJ delivered! Thank you for supporting our community. My husband also ordered deck boards and some other items. Customer service is excellent. We most definitely will be back. Looking forward to working with these guys more. Before even entering the establishment, I was trying to open my trunk and one of the employees offered to help seeing I had an infant in my arms. All around great service, great people and great products 👍 We can't thank y'all enough!

We had a unique project to mount an old Sensenich Bros. Model 98AA-66 wooden propeller to our wall. We went to the local big box store and didn’t get any help or find anything that would work. Our next stop was McCoy’s on the 337 loop. Immediately when we walked in, the assistant manager made eye contact and asked what he could help us with. After explaining our project and that we were looking for conduit, he told us to follow him and led us to an employee working the paint area. We told her the project and she hollered to another employee a bit away about a paper towel holder. After explaining our ideas to that employee, I believe Rebecca, took us to the employee break room to show what she created. It was exactly the material we were looking for. I own a small fencing and decking business here in New Braunfels. As you can imagine I'm making trips to the lumber yard multiple times a week if not multiple times a day. AJ the store manager and his team are top notch. The guys are quick to help me load out in the yard with a good attitude and work ethic. The cashier's are always more than helpful and Aj, Jason, and other management have personally helped me navigate transferring materials I need from one store to another or are always willing to do whatever in their power to make sure my materials are delivered to my jobs on time and well coordinated. I avoid the big box stores, (lowes/HD) like the plague because after dealing with the level of customer service they provide at my McCoys, it's frustrating to do business with anyone else
