Do not trust this company with your money! Their conduct has been disgraceful. On October 29, 2024, we hired McDaniel Window and Door (300 E Tennessee St, Florence, AL) in good faith and paid $18,157.03 upfront by personal check for windows and doors. The check was cashed the next day. Nearly a year later, we have received nothing — no product, no refund, and no accountability. Instead, we were met with vague, contradictory responses clearly meant to buy time, followed by complete silence. We filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau on July 25, 2025. The install crew for this company made me very happy. Chance Cromwell, Matt (didn’t get his last name) and Todd Kitrell were amazing! It was evident they cared about doing quality work and at once left me at ease. They cleaned up after themselves and put everything back better than they found it. The new windows are wonderful! Not only does my house look more modern, I can no longer feel drafts and the loud Highway noises from log trucks is reduced to a level I cannot believe. I am beyond ESTATIC and would recommend using McDaniels if you need new windows. Also, my sales rep Marty was great.

Substandard installation. They were supposed to return to complete the job but there was a turnover in personnel and no follow through. One door was hung crooked and the entire assembly is just not right. Notice in the photos the gap at the top of the door and the snug fit at the bottom. We have used them multiple times and this has been a disappointing experience.

My Mom paid the deposit and waited almost a year for the windows, was scheduled for install 10/4 wasn't told until the day of install that the 'order was messed up'. We were going to order new doors for our home as well. Just lost her business and mine also.

WHATEVER you do don’t ever do business with them! We paid for new windows and doors in February and no one will return our calls or our attorneys calls. We’ve asked for the product we bought or our money back and no response. Next step in to file a lawsuit next week! A complete disgrace and nightmare!
