McFadin Design/ Build

We hired McFadin Design/ Build to lift our house and replace our foundation. It was a huge project and they were able to get started quickly and finish everything in about 6 months. The McFadin team was great! The crew was professional and communicated clearly throughout the process. The work is high quality and they quickly addressed any concerns we had. All of the permitting and inspections went smoothly.

Our project began as an addition to our home, adding a bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Using the FIR program, Zeke and his team designed a 20x24 addition that had the makings of an ADU, including the bones for a kitchen. After inspections were completed, we then began a conversion process to make it an ADU. The first phase took about 9 months. The second about a year. Working with Zeke and his team was pretty seamless, from design to completion. His team is extraordinary, in my opinion, and we've had lots of experience with contractors. Our ADU is a little unique, as it is connected directly to our house, with a lockout. Zeke worked with the City of Portland to make this happen, and we are forever grateful.
