McLaughlin Masonry

We've worked with McLaughlin Masonry twice now. In 2019 they repaired and essentially rebuilt our brick stairs after we were told they could not be saved by another contractor. Not only did they save the stairs thus reducing the cost, but they look better than brand new. Shawn also recommended a contractor to install a new handrail for the stairs and they turned out to be just as great as he is! Just this month, McLaughlin Masonry helped us rip out crumbling, stamped concrete from a botched job in 2018. Shawn worked with us to come up with a thoughtful, cost-effective replacement that addressed our concerns and needs. Shawn and his crew did a wonderful job on my new brick driveway. We live at a busy intersection and it could have been difficult to use equipment etc. but Shawn made it look easy. His guys were polite and answered any questions I had. The driveway looks so nice and I've had many positive comments from neighbors and people walking by. Very happy with the whole experience.

McLaughlin Masonry has done several jobs for us and we have always been very happy with the work. They are easy to communicate with and are reliable. Shawn put in a new garage floor and secured part of our foundation. He also coordinated other local resources (he has many!) for our driveway and garage doors. Shawn and his crew did an outstanding job of repointing our chimney, replacing old flashing and installing a chimney cap. The crew showed up everyday ready to work at 8am and were very thorough, clean and organized. Sometimes, finding just the right contractor feels a bit like winning the lottery. Hiring McLaughlin Masonry was just such a case! Once they began work, the team showed up every day to keep the project moving, often working in extremely inhospitable conditions. They paid meticulous attention to detail, not only making sure the stonework was perfect, but also taking such great care of our house. After days of cutting and moving heavy stones in and around the garden, not a single plant was harmed! Not only that, but the area around the work site was left in better shape then before work began. We really appreciated not having to manage the oversight of the job - it was clear that Shawn, Hermalindo, Alex, and the rest of the crew really took pride in their work. They even showed up after we'd
