Dave from MD took a look at our crawlspace first in 2021. He was upfront and honest about our crawlspace then that my crawlspace wasn’t in need of immediate attention but to keep an eye out and monitor. There was very little mold then. Ofcourse other projects around my family’s home became more priority afterwords. (Roof, trees, inside fixes,etc) fast forward 3 years and myself neglecting it, once I was under there due to inspecting I noticed insulation failures and mold. Our basement is finally dry! Mike and Dave did an amazing job waterproofing our basement! We have had standing water on our basement floor since we purchased the home. We are very excited to finally be able to say our basement is dry. Mike came out to give us an estimate and took the time to thoroughly explain the process and answer all our questions. Scheduling was difficult for us due to my job schedule but (with plenty of notice) they were able to accommodate my scheduling requests and complete the job on time. Our basement proved to be a challenge, even for this experienced crew, but the results speak for themselves. Hey folks, my dirt crawlspace was a disaster. I did a bunch of preliminary work but still had problematic humidity, air quality, and a dingy space overall . Then MD came to my rescue and brought it to the finish line . I am still amazed at the transformation. From dingy to clean and sanitary. The two owners of this company tackled my 50x25 Crawlspace without additional helpers. They were both top notch guys and a pleasure to work with. They were always available to discuss any aspect of the work. Mike and I kept in communication from the time of the free estimate till after work completion. His partner was also a great guy to work with. MD insulated the concrete block walls with rigid board, encapsulated the ground and walls in 90mil (floor)and 10 mil (walls) plastic, built a new access

This group did a beautiful job for us. We are on the water with high humidity. We had fiberglass insulation that was installed after Sandy and didn’t realize that was not a good idea considering where our house is. I started getting a mildew odor on my ground floor. MD Crawlspace did an inspection with photos and a recommendation. End result, no odor, beautiful crawlspace. They were on time and completed the project in the expected timeframe. We recommend!!

Mike, Dave and the crew members of MD Crawlspace & Basement were truly incredible to work with. The cleaning weatherproofing and installation of the vapor barrier and dehumidifier in our the crawlspace is exactly what was needed to prevent future mold growth. All work performed was thoroughly explained before the work began, during the job, and then follow up calls were received when the job was complete just to make sure we were satisfied with the results. MD C&B even came back to our property a few weeks after the job was done to make sure the plumbing and heating work done in the crawlspace didn't disturb the vapor barrier.
