MDI Rock

I had a great experience here thanks to Jamiee at the front desk. I came in just looking for rock samples, and she went above and beyond to help me. She was incredibly friendly, had a great personality, and really paid attention to the details. Jamiee even asked if I had an HOA and reminded me to make sure the rock I choose gets approved first, something I honestly hadn’t even thought about. That kind of attention to detail really stood out. She also walked outside with me and showed me all the different rock options and samples, explaining everything along the way. Shopping for landscaping rock isn’t usually something you expect to be a great experience, but Jamiee made it one. Excellent customer service all around, thank you, Jamiee! 😊

This was my first time visiting a landscape rock company, and I brought my wife and son along so we could learn together. From the start, Joe at the front desk made the whole experience simple and stress-free. He didn’t just answer questions — he actually took the time to walk outside with us, pointed out different options, and explained the differences in detail. On top of that, he showed me how to convert tons into sqft and also yards, which gave me confidence we were ordering the right amount for our project. Disappointing customer service. Upon arrival was directed to walk around the front where the rock varieties are on display. After weighing all the options we picked out 2 options for our full front yard xeriscape makeover and went inside. They told me both options were actually not available and I had to pick through a much more limited selection than what was displayed. Would have been good to know on the front end. They have a big selection of boulders and we selected 3 boulders for our project. However their labeling process is duct tape w/ your name on it. When we scheduled delivery they were 5 days out and in the time in between in rained. On the day of delivery they gave a 8-12 delivery window and we had our crew onsite at 8am doing prep. Got 7 tons of Gravel delivered today. The delivery driver Reese was very friendly and helpful. There pricing is very good as well. I started at another landscaping company down the street and felt the price was more than it should be after I ordered. My Spidey sense was correct - I called MDI and it was substantially less so I canceled my other order. Great day - except for shoveling 7 tons of rock in my yard with my Dog Scout supervising! :)
