Our dog decided to chew through some hoses and cords on our AC unit — not a fun surprise! I called Mebane Air and they were out quickly to get everything fixed at a reasonable price. This is just the latest in a long history of great experiences with them. Every time we've needed service, it's been the same story: fast response, high quality work, and fair pricing. It's rare to find a company you can consistently count on, and Mebane Air is exactly that. Highly recommend!

Furnace wasn't working properly during the frigid cold/ice. Mebane Air came to check out the furnace -- drain pipe had frozen. Told to tap on it and it would be fine. And so I did. Charge was $149.00 and change. A few days later, furnace acting up again -- drain pipe frozen (12 degrees overnight). Solid ice from top to bottom. Called MA who came back and the only thing different they did was put a piece of black insulation wrap around the pipe inside the furnace area. Charged me $150.00! $300 to fix a problem they should have fixed on the first trip. I was and am in shock. No longer my go to HVAC company, but honestly, I don't think they care one way or another.

Called them with a request for diagnosis on a unique system, they said they would send their most experienced techs out. Showed up late, spent 4 hours messing with the system only for me to suggest using hose pressure to blow a vapor lock out of the loop. Why didnt they know that? Then they ran the system with a dry pump and it froze out causing a 3 day reset of the main compressor. Afterwards, I called the company and asked them to reduce the bill since their techs didnt know their job well, left my system worse than when the came, and wasted time. The owner said he would talk to his partners and call me back, which he did not, charged my card for the $800+ for nothing on my end. I get that time is money, but reputation is more important in the long term. Would not ever hire them

Had to leave this review tonight, I had a capacitor that failed in my system and my home was quite warm with an 11° temperature difference. Being a local business using my home as my business address, I had to have this issue addressed immediately so I had to utilize the after hours service. Noah was dispatched to my address. He was prompt and professional After explaining what I was hearing and he immediately knew what to look for and found the issue within five minutes of arriving on site and opening my unit. He was able to address the repair and give me some tips of things to look for if I hear any issues. Standup guy very knowledgeable and I definitely recommend Mebane air for all your local needs

Trane system installed by Mebane Air, a little over 4 years ago when our house was built. They came out annually, sometimes twice a year to recharge our system and look for the leak. Finally last year after 4 different guys a competent tech came out and fixed the leak for good. We never complained despite the annoyance and even paid a labor charge ($150) on one of the early visits which we shouldn't have. Last December the air handler motor stopped working. A tech came out and diagnosed it and said it was dead but under warranty. He charged us yet another labor charge ($150) which we reluctantly paid. Not their fault about the Trane part so understandable. I was told by the tech that there would be another ($150) charge (ridiculous), when they returned to replace part and it would take 1-6
