Medina Christmas Tree Farm - Main Farm

Great tree farm! Kids enjoyed the free hot chocolate and we also got some donuts at the food truck they had available. It was really convenient, particularly today, that they had fires going to warm up in different places while out looking for your tree. I will say I was a little disappointed in trees that seemed to be available this year at the farm. We didn’t cut one down, though they had saws and carts available if needed, but we couldn’t find one we liked from the ones they had in their fields. Ended up picking up one of their pre-cut Balsam Firs (from a tree farm up in Canada) and pretty happy with it. Prices for trees seemed consistent with what we’ve seen at other tree farms. Trees start at $70, plus a surcharge freezing a credit card and they even charge you to net the tree?? Hard to find a smaller one at that price point that wasn't half dead. We did end up finding some decent ones but they were really far away and you're not allowed to cut it down without them measuring it first. We've been cutting down trees for 25 years and never went somewhere where they had to measure it first. Not very practical when the only decent trees were far away out of the brush and mud. In all our years of cutting down our own trees, I have never seen a place charge for netting. Surely netting cost them basically nothing. And it's not very easy to bring home a tree that is not netted. We ended up leaving without a tree.

Great place to buy a tree. This was my family's first time visiting and it was a great experience. You can walk around with nobody crowding you. The highschool boys they have helping with the trees are really nice and helpful. I didn't have roof racks on my SUV and the kid that helped us had no issues tying it up on the roof. They have multiple fire pits set up to sit around when you need to warm up. We knew there was going to be a surcharge for using a debit/credit card because it was posted on the website, so we took cash. It was a great experience and we'll be back for our next tree.

Had a really nice time at Medina Christmas Tree Farm! The staff are friendly and made choosing a tree easy and hassle-free. Good selection and the prices are good considering what othe farms are charging. The kids enjoyed seeing and feeding the animals, especially the alpacas. The food truck on-site was a hit too – great for a quick bite. Also, they make some pretty cool wreaths and roping right there on the farm. Definitely a good spot for a relaxed family outing. Looking forward to next year's visit!

Found a tree that looks great. We got our tree from here last year too, as well as a few years ago. They have the animals too which is always fun. This year though, they significantly increased prices for their trees. Then they charged $5 just for the netting, AND an additional fee to use our debit card, neither of which they have ever charged us for-and we weren’t expecting. It was a VERY expensive experience. I don’t know if we will return.
