Meek's The Builders Choice - Joplin

I really love shopping Meeks for many reasons, but the main reason is that they treat you like family! They will go the extra mile to make sure you have a great buying experience! I needed a 4x8 panel I purchased cut down and they were happy to accommodate my needs!

Bought a bundle of Railroad ties. Outside of the stack looks great! Inside was a little rough but not bad. Unfortunately about half were bowed, warped or twisted. Maybe I got a bad bundle. On the plus side they were all consistent height, width and length.

Extremely helpful crew. Helped me figure out a problem i was having.

I stopped into Meeks to get some wire nuts, but it turned out I also had a quickly deflating tire due to a recent puncture. I also discovered that my spare tire was impossible to retrieve due to extensive corrosion in the release mechanism. With help and ingenuity from a few of the sales associates, I was able to cobble together a temporary fix that got me home, where I removed the tire and took it for repair. I spent about an hour there, and at no time did anyone become impatient or unwilling to help. Thanks to everyone who lent a hand!

Tried to buy some landscape timbers. They tried to make me take the yucky ones that had been there forever and were molding. There were several new bundles of timbers but I seemed to be inconveniencing the workers by asking for good looking merchandise. Took my business elsewhere.
