I am going to let my one star speak for itself here. And, it’s not because they can’t cut down trees efficiently or quickly. That part was fine. And, they even bumped us up to do it early, which I was thankful for. But, they didn’t complete the removal of all of our wood, stating the day of the job they would be back the following day to finish. They didn’t show up then, or the next two times they stated after we reached out again and again. We were stood up 3 times total and then they cashed our last payment on ‘accident’ (that they said they would hold until payday weeks away). So now paid in full, and contract says completed but they didn’t finish. And, when I called in disbelief about cashing the check, it was thrown back in my face with “this is how you thank me for helping you

Mel's tree service is the best!! I called that day Mel showed right up. He cut a massive White pine tree down within 50 minutes did a beauiful job was very pleased his crew cleaned everything up nicely. I highly recommend him. Very professional and very efficient and very nice. I will call Mel again!!

Mel's Firewood & Tree Service was the best choice I could have made for my tree trimming need. Mel and his crew arrived on time and were very communicative about their plans. They were efficient in their work while being very meticulous. Mine and my neighbor's yards looked the same at the end of the project as they did before the start. Above all, the cost of the project was beyond reasonable! Don't spend too much time looking for a tree service, Mel's Firewood and Tree Service should be your first call!
