We hired Melton to remodel the first floor of our home, including a kitchen, bathroom, family room, and dining room. This was the first time we had undertaken a project of this size, and they made it as easy as it could have been. During the design process they acted on all of our feedback and iterated until we had a solution that we were happy with, and they also came up with ideas that we would not have otherwise thought of. We just completed a main floor remodel which involved moving and expanding the kitchen (with a new island) and optimizing our overall floor plan. The Melton team (Richard, Ryan, Lauren and Matt) were creative, they listened well, and executed the final plan on time and on budget. We really appreciated having Lauren's design input throughout the project (she even helped with furniture choices!). Our lead carpenter, Matt, was exemplary in every way. We worked with Melton on the following: new roof/gutters, new front porch deck, new garage door, two new exterior doors, exterior paint, finishing a basement room (including custom woodwork/shelving and flooring in the hallway to the room), remodeling a guest bathroom, and replacing our kitchen backsplash.
