Menards

Don’t ever bring your own beverage into this store. If you set it down the staff WILL TAKE IT FROM YOU. This has happened to me TWICE! Good luck with this thieving store. You’d be better off going to a Lowe’s or Home Depot.

Menards is my number 1 favorite store in Beloit. ( for non grocery items) great customer service unlike another store in town, and quality items. Great prices also. There was a time where they would deliver things like couches and stoves and so forth but they no longer do it and that would be my only complaint about the store. I'm so glad we have Menards in town, and I sure hope they don't close down like so many other businesses. Thank you Menards for being such a good store and thank you for all the great employees that you have employed DFox

Menards, you used to be my store. I have to start shopping somewhere else. The quality of your product continues to decline. In less than 10 days I had to return two products that cost over $200 and were much bigger than a breadbox. Both of these products involved water and one of them involved water and electricity. These products were a Titan American Standard toilet and an Aircare Alliance evaporative humidifier. Both of these products because they involve electricity and water requires stringent quality checks. More so than let's say a pair of socks. The fact that the toilet tank leaked and so did the 2 1/2 gallon water jug inside the humidifier is testimony to the decline of the product that you stock. Got confusing and contradictory advice from numerous staff. Found several staff members who had zero idea of where certain items were. Prices are easily 25% higher than the Walmart Supercenter less than 50 yards away. I bought 2 items from Menards and could not find the other 3 I needed. Went across street to Walmart - found the other 3 and the 2 I bought at Menards for less $$. Seems Menards customers enjoy walking around the store and getting sent on store-wide wild goose chases from incompetent staff. Menards carries lots of odd name stuff that must be local items. Name brand proven stuff is hard to find. When you do, it costs 25% more than the competition. My family will stick to the much larger competition that can offer much lower prices.

Purchased and expensive recliner today. It was Gray period asked the young man to help us.That was in that area . when he pulled it up on the website he said it looked brown . I told him to please double check that we get the gray one like the one on the floor. He said it only comes in one color. We had to go home and get the truck and drive back to beloit from janesville. My husband went and got the chair brought it home and sure enough.It was brown. Had to take it back and swap it for the one we had originally asked for. Super super frustratingThat these young people don't know how to do their jobs.Even when you speak up about the issue , they don't even check period usually have good experiences at menards , but see that it's going slightly downhill
