Menards

I felt compelled to write this review. Upon walking into the Menards store in Cottage Grove, MN, an employee was pushing carts back into the store. I noticed that he also was walking with a crutch 🩼. This young man who's name is RON, A RAY OF SUNSHINE!!!!! Please give this young man kudos 👏 for a job well done. You have so many individuals who are not employed because of their disability, clearly, not RON. You are the epitome of a young man who does not let his disability define him. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You deserve a high five🖐; nope, a high ten🙌.

I purchased a drum style drain auger and the part that connects to the drill broke almost immediately. Upon taking it back to the store, they said they could not process a return or replacement because the tool had touched a drain system. The entire point of the tool is to touch a drain system. I’ll reach out to the manufacturer for support because the in store response was throughly disappointing.

We bought a patio set and needed to return it within three months. Before doing this I called and talked with two managers and one sales person, all whom said it was okay to return. Return went smoothly which was great. The only thing I wish they would've done was to credit another credit card due to the large cost of the chairs, instead of the Menards card. But overall great experience.

The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The electrical supplies we needed were sold out. This is likely because of COVID, but still frustrating. Overall this store typically has what we need. We were frustrated because they rearranged some of the store. We couldn't find things as fast as we could before. This is a pet peeve of ours. I can't stand when stores move stuff to try to increase their sales. Loyal customers have benefit of knowing where things are and then they mix it up. 😫
