Menards

This evening i went to the hermnatown menards. I had an absolutely terrible experience. I came in looking for a specific light. When i walked in i noticed my friend, who i haven't seen in a long time, was working up front. I went up to her and said hi and she asked what i was looking for. I explained to her what it was and she proceeded to look it up on the website. Just as she was, a manager up front yelled to my friend, who works there, and said “your causing lines in other lanes because your too busy goofing off with your friends”. My friend (the employee) responded by saying she was helping us look up something to see if they had what i was looking for in store. Great store, you save big money. I love how they have a garden section and the store is huge. You’ll find anything you could possibly need.

It was clean, staff was friendly and they had lots of clearance items. Not sure what else you can ask for. The location is great for getting in and out but still located near most of the other stores you need to go to when running errands.

My family and I bought a fresh Christmas Tree this afternoon. When we got to the cash register the cashier didnt even say a word to us. We had to ask someone else for string or twine to tie it down to our car. The lady just told us there's sting and a scissors. Didn't ask us if they could help. The worst customer service. And we won't be coming back. Thanks Menards :/

Ordered special floor trusses, went threw it with the staff at menards multiple times in person. They came 9" short. Menards sends the guy out that I ordered from and says sorry this is what you ordered nothing we can do for you. This isnt the first major screw up.
