Picked up some gravel and plants to finish out a koi pond and stream project for a water feature we had in Rochester. Making a yard purchase at the back counter was quick and easy! Had a few questions for the gentleman, and he answered them knowledgeable and told me how I could save time next time and get the order through and picked up faster. Appreciated the help!

As long as Rochester north Menards have employees like phoebe, I will always make sure that this store is my top priority for shopping! Phoebe was super helpful, nice, kind and awesomely easy to work with. Super glad that employees like Phoebe still exist. Menards better appreciate and consider themselves lucky to have team members like Phoebe!

I encountered a very rude female cashier on Sunday, December 28th around 710pm. My shovel broke during a blizzard so I risked my safety to drive to the store to get a replacement. It looked like I was the only customer in the store. I got two shovels and brought them to the only cashier working at this time At first she was friendly, but then I mentioned I forgot WD-40 and asked if I could leave the shovels at the register with her while I ran and got a can. Keep in mind I was LITERALLY THE ONLY CUSTOMER. Suddenly her fake friendly act dropped. Her smile disappeared. She looked away from me, visibly annoyed, almost angry. She slammed a button on her keyboard and mumbled something I didn’t understand. I said never mind and proceeded to buy the shovels and left to go to Home Depot to get wha

Good selection of items for general home and construction. They don't have all the specialty home items though like at Lowes. If you're going to make a big purchase be sure to park by the exit door on the north side of the building. It's a long walk back to your vehicle if you park by the entrance door. Their rental department is excellent. Lots of choices and quality equipment. I've rented their floor sanding equipment for many jobs. Returns are always easy and the 11% rebate is nice. Not amazing, but certainly a perk when you buy a lot of items.

Love to just walk around - there are so many things to see. Regardless of what I specifically come in for, I always find something else I can't do without. Check end caps for markdowns! Sales associates are friendly and helpful.
