I spent a lot of money to get part of an unfinished basement done. He told us that he was licensed and did not need permits. Now we are faced with not being able to get a certified inspection because he is not a licensed contractor, which is required to obtain the permit to be able to get an inspection. He has not been willing to resolve the issue. He should stick to handyman work and be upfront and honest. We are faced with stairs, electrical, and a falling bar shelf that may not be up to code and he has failed to resolved. We also had to caulk the bathroom shower again and are in the process of having the unmatched used bathroom sink he installed replaced as well as the falling and crooked bar shelf that has shifted replaced.
