Mendez Landscaping HD

We hired Mendez Landscaping for a front yard project including a retaining wall, artificial turf, weed barrier, and re-rocking. We paid $900 upfront for materials and later $420 for rock delivery. Over a month, we were given multiple start dates that were not kept. No work was ever started. Communication became inconsistent and we were unable to get firm dates in writing. We have documentation of payments and communication and are now pursuing the matter through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). I strongly recommend verifying licensing, getting everything in writing, and don't pay before work is completed.

Homeowners beware!!!! If you are looking for a good honest landscape company do NOT hire this.one!!! The owner Victor is not professional. He called me drunk and beligerant, he did not stick to our previously agreed upon payment schedule. He kept asking us to pay him ahead of time. He did not stake the weed control down to the ground, or remove 2in of dirt before installing decomposed granite. He did not install 2in of DG either. He left my yard with huge black areas that have zero DG. It looks like black trash bags all over my yard. He did not install artificial grass correctly. The ground is not leveled like promised which caused my gate not to be able to open properly anymore. Mendez Landscaping did a great job with the desert landscaping of my front yard. Always professional, on time and completed the work for a fair price. In addition the crew did sprinkler and concrete repair as well as cleaning my backyard of debris. I found Mendez Landscaping very easy to work with and would recommend their services. I’m very pleased with my front yard.

Mendez Landscaping went above and beyond for my project. They completed a bocce ball court that I had been trying to finish for over 2 years. They made it look awesome! Highly recommended! Free Estimates and the price was very reasonable.

They just don't do landscaping. We needed to have un wanted landscaping removed and other debris from our acreage. Mendez Landscaping came in and did the job in a timely manner at a fair price. They were professional, on time and a hard working crew . We look forward to many projects coming up and using MENDEZ LANDSCAPING.
