Another rumor that turned out to be true! We were in search of the infamous Western Larches...and we found them! What a gorgeous grove of shimmering yellow. And the silence surrounding us? Phenomenally quiet! There were plenty of the typical Ponderosa Pine and Douglas Fir all around us...but the star attraction for sure...these beautiful Larches!! So cool to have the area all to ourselves. The brilliant blue sky as the background for the incredible yellow colors below... somebody pinch me! Awesome time exploring with the kids.
This place is so secluded and beautiful. It’s incredible how dramatically the habitat changes down by the creek.
This place is great for camping or hunting but deer is draw tag but it beautiful even if it just camping
Fun place to see the river and feed the fish
