Miami Fencing Club

The Miami Fencing Club has helped me grow both as a fencer and as a person. Mike and Max were crucial to my development, and under their guidance I have competed across the country winning a state and national title.

We placed our son at the age of 10 at the clubs class at Miami Dade college. The instructors, especially Mike and Max, are the best fencers in Miami. Max even fenced on an Olympic team. They are professional and focused on making our kids the best they can be. They also mentored my son and he looks up to them as if they were family. They displayed to him kindness, friendship, and the spirit of competition. The club makes fencing fun as Max is a tough Olympic Level Coach, but very kind and likes to have fun with the students.

Miami Fencing Club is our 2nd home, my son loves going to practice and being with his friends, MFC it's a place where he finds encouragement and joy, his passion for this sport is an amazing input to accomplish his best in all the other areas of his life, as a child with a high functioning autism I can not emphasize enough how fencing is has helping him to get to the next level as his social abilities, critical thinking skills and building perseverance for goals that he wants to accomplish, understanding challenge as an opportunity to learn, the staff is very supportive and always with the best interest for the Children with the main idea to love what you do and have fun, thank you MIAMI FENCING CLUB and thank you for our President of the club Dr. Dorothy Contiguglia for your heart for t
