Walked in to grab some fabric scissors and other supplies and asked one of the employees where to find everything. She was super nice and even walked me over to where they were and told me she'd be right back, that she just had to get the key to open the lock for them. She disappeared into the back, and next thing i hear is someone yelling and that girl never came back with the key. I ended up just leaving.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Michaels, but my recent experience with Ronnie at checkout was incredibly disappointing. When I approached for help at the self checkout, she completely ignored me. There were no other cashiers available, so I pressed the help button on the register. Even then, she did nothing. Thankfully, a kind young woman eventually ran over to assist me. What shocked me most was that, as I was leaving, I overheard Ronnie complaining to this same helpful employee about me “annoying” her. That is not the kind of service I expect from Michaels. I will be returning my items and reconsidering where I shop. After posting this, I noticed that many other reviews mention similar negative experiences with Ronnie—some even alleging racist behavior. Craft stores are my crack!!! Michaels has a great selection of whatever I’m in the mood for, whether it’s crocheting, making holiday projects, or working on crafting with my grandkids. There are so many things in the store!!! I’ve never been to any of the classes, but it’s good to know that they are there in case I would like to try something new, or need help. Speaking of help, the staff is really helpful and courteous, and can usually answer any questions I have regarding materials I may need. If they do not have something in particular, they will try other stores or special order it. I highly recommend Michaels!!!

Spent 20 minutes looking for birthday decorations. Found the good ones by the exit door after wasting my time. Unorganized

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your store. I placed an order online for a balloon, which was clearly stated to be ready for pick up. However, when I arrived, not only was the balloon not blown up, but the staff member named Ronnie was unhelpful and unprofessional. Instead of resolving the issue promptly, Ronnie repeatedly blamed the website and spent more time talking than actually working on my order. This delay and attitude were extremely frustrating, especially considering the order was confirmed as ready. I expect better service, especially when placing an order in advance. I hope you will address this matter appropriately to prevent similar experiences for other customers.
