I am thankful for the opportunity to again review Mid Fla Heating & Air. This is my third review within 5 1/2 years. Chris Cook performed my inspection service call this time. He called ahead, responded and arrived in a timely manner and once again preformed excellent service. My system runs great and Chris informed me of the need to install a “soft start” kit to reduce wear on the compressor. He explained how it works and the value of investing in the kit. We discussed current state and desired timeline to have the kit installed. I chose to wait a couple months and then have the kit installed. The price of the kit beats the alternative of replacing the compressor if it were to fail prematurely. I really appreciate Chris taking the time to go through all of this with me. I feel like Mid Fl

I called to have my A/C system diagnosed, and it turned out to be a bad thermostat. A steep $549 dollars later, their new thermostat was causing the AH blower to continuosly run. The A/C tech then said it was a bad AH Blower motor, and it would cost me another $649. The AH blower was working perfectly fine with the old thermostat. To prove that their new thermostat was causing the issue (misconfigured wiring or setup configuration incompatibility), I purchased and installed a new Honeywell TH4 (similar to the one I had originally.) BINGO!!!! Problem solved. In total they would have charged me $1149 If I was a stupid man and listened to the Tech. $1149 for a simple thermostat fix. Stay away from these thieves!!!!!! I definitely would not recommend to family and friends.

Josh was our tech and answered all our questions. He serviced our AC and we could not have ask for a better tech. Mid - FL is fortunate to have a person like Josh. Ethan and Scott came out to fix my heat issue which turned out to be a thermostat programming issue. While they were here they went ahead and did a full service on machine and everything is A OK. I’m super happy. They’re professionals and highly recommend. Thank you.

Ethan and Scott were extremely competent in doing their assessment and repairs to our unit. They were polite, positive, respectful, helpful and took a great deal of time to explain everything they did, as well as what could be done, to improve the quality, efficiency and reliability of the system.
