Middle Island Landscaping

My lucky day when I found Middle Island Landscaping & Contracting. The owner, Pete, was communicative, easy going, and accommodating. His extensive experience and expertise are evident in his vision and suggestions. While all his workers were hardworking, respectful, and experienced, his mason crew was extraordinary. My driveway had particular issues with protruding pavers from my existing walkway. Pete assured me that they would be able to work it out and they did a great job. I hired them for a new driveway. But I will be using them again for some landscaping planting and design. Absolutely a pleasure to work with Pete and his crews! I think I’ve written just one review before. This was truly deserved.

Middle Island is the best! We had our patio redone and they were fantastic. It was refinished in exactly the timeframe estimated and the budget quoted..no surprises. Peter, the owner is so friendly and easy to work with. We also us Middle Island for our weekly landscaping needs and our lawn has never looked better. 5 stars for this company!

Pete Mistratta, owner of Middle Island Landscaping, is unprofessional in his work. We waited for over 2 years for our driveway to be completed. He constantly promised for other work to be done, moving the dates around, always with a poor excuse as to why "workers" did not show up. Not sure if he is licensed, and uses day laborers, whom he drops off, unsupervised. He finally left the job, not completed, and told us to find someone else to finish a driveway we had PAID FOR. So, we found some one else and took Pete to Small Claims court. He agreed to pay for damages, but failed to follow up with payment. Still in court proceedings. DO NOT sign up with this guy. In a word, DISORGANIZED!!!

middle island landscaping did a EXCELLENT job on my patio,walkway and driveway all in the matter of 2 weeks .The owner Peter m. and his employees are a perfect example of PERFECT customer service !!!

Fantastic landscaper..always ontime and professional. Our lawn has never looked better. All extra work has always been done on time and no surprises in cost. I would definately recommend Middle Island Lanscaping.!!
