Midtown Parking Garage (Union League)

We found this parking garage by chance after not wanting to pay a ridiculous amount for parking at The Ritz Carlton Philadelphia where we were staying. Yes, the Ritz is pricey, but we're not made of money and every little savings helps! Other garages in the area were priced higher too. Here, our overnight parking was reasonable, which includes a tip for the valet peeps. Yes, we had to wheel our luggage about a block or so from the hotel, but exercise is good for you! You pull up, pay, and your car is taken and parked for you. You don't have the option of self parking. Retrieving your car was easy too, and took all of 5 minutes. The garage seemed clean and safe. Being only a block from the Ritz also means that it's close to a lot of Philly's sites and landmarks, like the Reading Terminal

I used this parking garage yesterday (Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend) to enjoy Love Park and the Wanamaker Light Show. You pay on the street level when you are leaving. I paid and we went down to our car. It took 55 minutes to exit the garage due to the volume of vehicles using the garage. But the worse part was as I inserted my paid ticket the machine said I had to pay again. So I hit the call button and an employee answered and told me it was over 15 minutes since I had paid. I told her I have been in line to exit this garage for 55 minutes. Another employee came over to help and told the employee on the call and I had a receipt and explained about the line to exit the garage. I think many people had the same issue which is why the line was so long to exit. I think when there

Made a 26$ worth spothero reservation starting 8 am - 10:30 pm on 11/14, when I got there around that time I was denied saying "it's full". Please be careful NOT wasting your $$$ here. I don't care that it was a Friday night peak hours, spothero is meant to hold your spot which this valet is affiliated with. He didn't even see my booking Whatever was the point of pre booking an hour before getting there- God knows.

reserved via spothero in advance. I showed the woman at the front desk my confirmation and she said that we can retrieve the car with the online confirmation. When we returned, she eagerly and rudely insisted that it was actually a $70 charge, from which she would not subtract the price of the spothero reservation. incredibly rude, unprofessional, and dishonest.

Easy experience, friendly staff. Only card accepted for payment. Valet parking, so you can’t park your car yourself and you have to wait for them to bring it to you which only took a few minutes.
