Mill City Design + Build

Our addition is complete thanks to Mill City Design + Build! The building process started back in November 2020 and wrapped up here in early May 2021. It includes this great new 4 season sunroom and a wonderful deck to enjoy throughout the spring through fall seasons. Mill City was great to work with and they worked hard to keep working throughout the winter months, even without heating supplied to the addition on some cold days! At the beginning of the process, we vented several companies and Mill City was willing to give us a pretty solid estimate and hop alongside us with the creative input for suggestions on the addition. We recently completed a kitchen renovation with Mill City Design + Build who exceeded our expectations every step of the way. Brian and Matt are thoughtful, creative, professional, honest, patient, flexible and responsive. They are knowledgeable about older bungalows and worked with us to move a 1920s built in hutch to a different wall so we could open up our kitchen, in addition to a gut rehab of the kitchen. It all turned out beautifully thanks to their expertise and Willy’s carpentry skills. I’m grateful we found them and can’t recommend them enough!

Mill City transformed the basement in our 1957 rambler into a beautiful 'lower level'. In addition to expanding the bathroom, we added a bedroom, family room, kitchenette, work room and extra storage. We doubled our livable space! Everyone was great to work with - they listened to our ideas and made them a reality.

We did a basement and main floor addition. They took the time to help us decide what the best design for us would be. They guided us through the whole process and kept us updated as we went. We love our new space and Mill City was fantastic to work with!

Working with Mill City (Brian & Matt) to finish our South Minneapolis basement has been great. We worked through the design concepts and stayed in close contact throughout the project. They even worked with us on parts of the project we wanted to complete ourselves. The basement looks great -- It added a bedroom, an office, a living area and a bathroom. Mill City will definitely be top of our list to call if we need more renovations done in the future.
