There’s a reason they have so many terrible reviews, and here I am with another one. It could be considered a cliche at this point - but if I could give 0 stars, or even negative, I would. After around 20 years of continuous service, being literally “grandfathered” down from my husbands father onto him, mirabito has officially lost us. They care more about money and giving you the most BS runaround than they care about keeping their lifelong customers around and happy. Without further ado, and if you’re still reading, here’s our most recent situation; With a labor worker for a husband, he is out of work for the winter. I had to return multiple times after being told they would have replacement parts for my fuel oil tank but when I showed up, no one knew where the parts were. Very disappointing. I have also been told at each fill up that my tank did not pass inspection and needed to be fixed. I replaced the vent whistle one year, the next year they said my foundation on which the tank sat was unsafe, and the next year they wouldn’t fill it unless I replaced the entire tank! The inspections seem a bit shady to me and used as a way to create revenue from unsuspecting customers.

I called this company to set up home delivery/account for fuel oil . The driver/truck showed up as scheduled . I waited for him to fill tank so i could pay the bill .He came to the door about 20 minutes later and told me that he cannot fill the tank . i need to have the fill alarm replaced as well as the entire section of fill pipe leading to the tank. The section almost 2' long including the section of pipe that holds the fill alarm. This would cost $225. I asked him if he was sure the parts were bad and he said yes , repeating everything. I showed him receipts from 2 years ago that such work has been done , it was all in great shape as no issues last year filling it . I told him to leave. do not do business with this company they are dishonest.

People base their decisions of reviews and it's clear from all the 1 star reviews this business cares about one thing and thats MONEY not there customers. Our account has been open with this mirabito for 25 years, I've personally sat down with the district manager many times to discuss our plan and it's always resulted in a happy customer. BUT the old district manager is back and all he's doing is trying to make his numbers look good. This year they canceled my contract with no notice, nothing. When I did find out they told me "the market" has changed and we can't do anything for you. Your welcome to shop around and you probably will find cheaper. Who ever does the billing in the place is horrible at it. Charged me for a labor visit after I paid upfront for it. Never took it of even after I went in a talked to them about it.Two months later they finally took the labor charge off after they tried telling me I owed them again.while the whole time giving me attitude. I bought 400 gallons up front on the bills they send me it shows they only dropped off 250 gallons so I ask them to bring the other 150 which they agreed they owed me a week ago .Now telling me I owe for the last 200 gallons 400 dollars because they say they gave 150 4 months ago but those 150 gallons are nowhere on my bills in the last 4 months. I don't mind paying but they are so confusing putting bills on I don't owe and not putting bills on I do owe how can I trust any
