Have used Mitchell for oil and LPG service for over 20 years. Reliable is the word that comes to mind. Mitchell's technicians are professional and polite and explain in layman's terms what they are working on.

I converted from alternate oil and propane suppliers to Mitchell based on the recommendation of friends and it was one of the best decisions I made in 2023. Their pricing is significantly less than the prior suppliers and the service has been light years better. When installing new propane storage tanks their technicians found a small leak in the line which they traced down to the gas stove connection which must have been leaking for many years. Mitchell’s technicians actually moved a 600 lb Viking stove to fix the leak. Service with a conscious is rare today.

Mitchell has been servicing my heating system for the past few years, and doing a fine job, and today at my request Mitchell serviced my four a/c units for the first time. I think the Mitchell technician, a person named Barry, did a thorough and excellent job (and he also was very pleasant). He was obviously well trained and experienced. Two of my a/c units are very old and will need to be replaced, and I have asked Mitchell for a quote on replacement. I’ll write a further review to report on replacement of the two a/c units.

I get fuel from Mitchell for many years now. Never had a single complaint. Even on a short notice they have delivered oil in winter. I recently bought fuel tanks for my house from Mitchell. Once the installation job was done, I called a day later and asked if fuel gauge can be moved to the first tank as it will be convenient to check fuel level. All my calls were promptly returned. Their senior staff is friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Technical supervisor Joe visited twice and got the work done under his supervision. Owner also called to assure work will be done promptly. If you are looking for a company with excellent customer service, I highly recommend Mitchell. They have a long history of providing great service.

Terrible company to work with. Our heat has been off for almost a week. Every tech they sent said the problem was fixed only to have the heat turn off hours later. They threatened damages when I asked to cancel my contract. Still no heat. It seems that every person they sent has made the problem worse. Don't waste your money on the "service contract". Their techs only make a small problem into a much bigger issue.
