I got 4 yards of “premium lawn soil at $40 a yard. For a total of $230 including delivery, you’d expect it to be high quality right? WRONG! this soil is some of the worst I’ve ever used. Nothing but rocks and pebbles. I will never go to them again

Delivery was exactly what I wanted. I rescheduled for the next day and they were very accommodating. Driver was professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Modern Materials 👌

I get my mulch here every year and other materials as different projects pop up. I was in need of some medium sized stones to create a boarder between my yard and my neighbors yard and I noticed they had a pile of quarry rocks tucked into the back their lot. I asked how much would it be to fill my small pick up (4ft bed). Couldn't get a straight answer on a price so i figured I'd load up my truck and show them what I wanted. I climbed through mud and ankle deep water to grab the rocks and load them myself. When I drove back up to get a price I'm told $100 for maybe 25 small to medium sized rocks. Maybe I'm wrong here but the price seemed ridiculous for maybe 25-30 quarry rocks that they have just sitting in the back of their lot. If this is a fair price then it would have been nice to k
