I had such a great experience with Jaime Valenzuela from Modern Mechanical. He was extremely professional, neat, and respectful throughout the entire visit — and he even took the time to be kind to my dog, which I really appreciated! Instead of trying to push me into buying a new system, Jaime focused on helping me maintain and extend the life of my 10+ year old HVAC unit. That honesty and care mean so much. I’ve been using Modern Mechanical for about 15 years, starting when I lived in Hamilton and now in Leesburg, and they have always sent excellent technicians. Jaime is another example of why I continue to trust this company. Highly recommend!

Our water heater stopped working and we ordered a new one from Modern Mechanical. Technician plumber Brett Knox arrived at out home at 9:30 this morning as promised in a text sent 45 minutes earlier. He scoped things out and went to work. He wrestled the old bulky 75 gallon tank out of the utility closet and installed a new 50 gallon tank in about 3.5 hours. He did a beautiful job with the copper piping and put in a new expansion tank. He also realigned the overflow pipe from the new overflow pan so it didn't conflict with the access to our HVAC filter as before. Brett was extremely courteous, professional and trustworthy. Brett is a thoughtful, kind individual with a positive vibe about him. We enjoyed having him in our home. I would highly recommend Brett for any of your plumbing

We recently had our HVAC replaced by Modern Mechanical and George was the most honest salesperson I’ve ever met. He was upfront with the costs, pros/cons of various units and took the time to walk us through the entire process to make an informed decision. The installers were great and didn’t leave a mess behind and took the time to show us some of the features of the furnace, humidifier, AC and thermostat.

Just prior to listing our home for sale, our heat pump died. We contacted Modern Mechanical and worked with the One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning team. They sent a technician that day. He was professional and knowledgeable. We could repair it or replace it. Given its age, we replaced it, and the installation was done in a few days. Tremendous service! Fast forward to our new home. We opted to replace both 21-year-old HVAC systems (upstairs and downstairs) and there was no doubt which company to call, Modern Mechanical. The contracting process was simple and easy, and the price was very reasonable. He let me know what service he was going to perform (AC System Repair) and walked me through the process. He was professional, courteous, and helpful, even gave me some tips on things I can do to maintain the system. Great job and will be using Modern Mechanical again.
