This company is great! We had Danny and his crew pull up carpet, sand, and finish two bedrooms and buff and coat the rest of the house’s floors. They did a fantastic job at a good price. The flexibility in scheduling, professionalism and knowledge, price, speed (without sacrificing quality), and final result were all very impressive. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of hardwood restoration, maintenance, or installation.

The team from Modern Quality Flooring excelled at every step of the process of redoing nearly every floor in our new house. We redid our entire first floor of hardwood and our entire basement with new vinyl lux flooring. We discovered some bumps in the road - upon removing some rugs, some very large plywood patches showed up. The basement floor, once the carpet came up proved to be less than level and the stairs needed to be patched up. Everything was done so well that it's hard to imagine it's the same house. My fiancé and I tried to refinish our floors ourselves, but after 2 days we quickly realized we needed a professional. We reached out to 4 different companies. Every other company was condescending and poked fun at us for trying to do it ourselves. We were initially going to do the floors ourselves but decided to get a quote and we are very thankful we did. After one conversation with Danny it was clear that he was a professional and very knowledgeable in his trade. We have an older condo in Evanston, 3-story walk up, and Danny knew how to address the "quirks" that come with an older building. The refinished floors came out beautifully and were completed within our tight timeline.
