Juan (Juan #1) came out to check our upstairs unit on a Sunday and got us back up and running quickly. He was very thorough, careful and explained everything that he was checking to make sure we wouldn't have any future issues. Highly recommended.

Tech Eric came today for AC maintenance. He recommended UV light at a cost of $1,600. He quoted me that price more than 10 times and he also said that price with 2 different neighbors today. After he left he was going to email the quote. The emailed quote is $1,615.50. I called the office to see why there is a difference. They told me that $1,615.50 is already a discount and they would not honor the quoted price of $1,600. I recommend you get all quoted prices in writing when the tech is at your house before he leaves. They have lost me as a customer.

HORRIBLE!  HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I purchased a commercial grade water heater with a six year warranty good until November 2025 and had Modern install it in November 2019. Fast forward to October 2024 and we suddenly did not have hot water. We called Modern and had to pay $159 for a service call. The heater had an internal leak causing the thermostat to burn out. The water heater needed to be replaced because the leak would continue to burn out future thermostats. No problem...it's under warranty and I'm expecting to pay the labor. So, I'm informed that they DO NOT warranty what they sell. I would have to pay $2100 for a new water heater. WHAT? I just paid $159 to have someone tell me the product I purchased from them, still under warranty needed to be replaced at full re

Ok I originally was not going to leave a nice review but after my whole situation had passed I put all emotions aside and Modern Services was very professional every step of the way. To say I was frustrated was an understatement. One thing after another and then another happened. All was beyond anyone’s control but I really felt helpless at times. Shenitria and Howard in the office were great and let me vent at times. I can’t remember the 4 technicians who came to my residence to fix the AC, but all knew their jobs and were very professional. All in all not the best situation but it was not modern services fault. Thank you for letting me vent at times and fixing my AC several times over and over.

Frank was great! He's one of the happiest tech guys I've ever met - He smiled the entire time he was here and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. As usual, Modern A/C techs are the best. Nice people, really know what they're doing, super careful with our property, and they all seem to be able to walk the line between friendly and professional. Also, not a bad price for what needed to be done, and done on time.
