Had area rug needed to be cleaned and thought of doing it myself with a rented store machine but had a feeling Moderne could do it better for a good price and they did! Very friendly and professional. My rug looks new again and is clean. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using Moderne Rug for almost 20 years. They are consistently excellent in what they do and the people there communicate very well . We’ve used their superior cleaning and repairing services. We often use the delivery service as well. They come over on their truck and place the rugs back with newly cut pads. They do great work the carpets come very clean the only problem I saw was they are very expensive. It was over 300 for 3 area rugs cleaned that were not very dirty to start with. Very nice people who work there and they carried them out for us.

I’ve been going here for 30 years but recently their quality and customer service has taken a significant downturn. They are fine for inexpensive rugs with pet stains but if you’ve invested in nice area rugs I’d look elsewhere. A.E. Runge in Yarmouth is good. Although they told me a specific time and I rearranged my schedule they showed up 45 minutes early and left, as I was planning on being home as scheduled. They refused to reschedule anytime sooner, I would have to wait a week to get my rugs. Once I inspected them I was unimpressed with their work. The poor customer service, lack of adequate response to solve the issue and general incompetence resulted in the 1 star. My profanity was the poop word, not overly profane given the circumstance they forced me into but I apologize none the
