I had a very disappointing experience with Modern General Contractor. The project timeline kept getting pushed back with little to no communication. What was promised as a six-week renovation turned into three months of constant delays. I had to follow up repeatedly just to get updates. Definitely not the level of professionalism I expected.

Modern General Contractor did not meet my expectations at all. The workmanship was inconsistent, and several details were overlooked, including uneven paint and poorly installed fixtures. When I raised concerns, the response felt dismissive rather than solution-oriented. I ended up hiring another contractor to fix the mistakes.

Communication was a major issue throughout my project with Modern General Contractor. Calls and emails often went unanswered, and I was left guessing about the progress. The budget also exceeded the original estimate without clear justification. Transparency and accountability were seriously lacking.

Just when you think there are no reliable people left in construction, along comes Alex. Despite encountering difficulties every single step of the way with our commercial project, Alex stuck to it and saw it through to completion. He went well beyond the scope of the work in ensuring that we're not left hanging, and for that I really appreciate his hard work, and for the many visits he had to make to the project site to meet with an endless stream of inspectors. He obtained clearances from 7 different departments (thanks LA!), painstakingly reaching out to each inspector and conducting field inspections and corrections.
