Mohave Electric Co-Op

This company has an absolute monopoly on their service area. I'll let readers fill in the blanks for what that means in terms of their quality of service. Warning to those who may move here and work from home: save and save often. Apparently the changing of the breeze is enough to cripple their infrastructure, flickering power is commonplace even on sunny and calm days.

Absolutely the worst company in the Tri-State area. The payment portal has been down for several days, not allowing any forms of payment. We called several times inquiring about this and how to pay, we were assured no disconnection in service would happen due to the portal being down and to pay once it becomes available. Turns out they were liars and disconnected the service. Never once did I receive any written notice, phone calls, or anything. Never been late or had been negative. Called them and the service was turned back on, but not before they told us we had to hit the button on the box outside. Too bad my family works all day and is unable to leave to reconnect service when it was their fault to begin with. Not to mention my pets inside that have to deal with no AC. Its July, its 1

I never thought I would despise a state or utility company like I do Arizona and mohave electric. I'm going back to Texas end of this month. Goodbye and farewell to hell.

Terrible experience so far. Just moved to the Bullhead city area and work from home. The power outages seem regular and now is causing problems with my employment and in the middle of summer to top it off. The company doesn't even have the decency to be open all 5 business days out of the week.

Why on earth am i getting charged almost 50% higher than last year? 450.00 a month for an 840 sqft house..REALLY????
