Molnar Heating & Air Conditioning

FACTS: Molnar installed an entirely new HVAC system in our home when we added a second story. 1) Water condenser was not properly connected in wall, causing water to seep out of the bathroom walls and onto the floor. Had to have sheetrock ripped out to connect the condenser line. This occurred in July when we ran the A/C for the first time. 2) We then put on the heat in November. After a day or two of running the heat, we faintly smelled gas in our home. Called gas company. Per SDG&E, gas line was not properly installed in attic. This caused gas to enter all our bedrooms while we slept. Had two third party HVAC companies review the HVAC installation. Both confirmed the HVAC system was not installed up to code. Molnar was the company used by our contractor three years ago when we did a full remodel and had central air installed. Recently our AC unit started flooding water into the attic and stopped working altogether... it took two days of phone calls back and forth to finally get a reply from Cindee, who told us she wouldn't be able to send out a tech for at least a week. She also wouldn't tell us whether our system was still under warranty because she was "busy doing payroll at the moment." I called her several days afterward to try to see if she had any earlier appointments available since my wife is 8 months pregnant and not handling the heat well, but she never answered the phone or returned my calls. Installed a great system to replace the sears (aluminum corroded) and got me a quiet brand. Was here to repair other parts of the system sears had put in.
